This evening I found this Azure Kingfisher on Ginninderra Creek in Giralang, downstream from Giralang Pond.
I couldn't get close to it - this photo is an extreme crop from a long way away.
There was also a Nankeen Night Heron flying over, the first I've seen around here for a while. It was adult bird. Duncan.
