On a similar note, I saw Superbs, a Crimson Rosella, a Rainbow Lorikeet, a raven and a Noisy Miner all checking the same gum one day last week. Fierce competition.

On a morning bike ride in Bonner I heard Superbs and found them in a large eucalypt over the fence in Jacka.. About 10 Common Mynas flew out of the tree followed by about 6 Noisy Miners. A Crimson Rosella flew in and the two Superbs moved towards it and shooed it across the canopy before leaving and heading up through my GBS site. It seems that every big old tree will be fought over in the future.
