Hi All,

Apologies for the gap in info - I have been overseas. Just a quick note to say we are pulling together everything that has happened to date with the Snipe project (surveys, trackers, geolocators, leg flagging and of course your observations), and presenting it at a 'Thankyou Morning Tea' for anyone & everyone who has been involved in any way shape or form (or even not but just interested). Birgita Hansen (principal researcher) will be travelling up from Victoria for the event. There will be an opportunity for Q&A and a discussion about future project directions given what we have learnt to date.

We also have the option of putting on a second time slot that weekend if there is enough interest.

Please save the date in your diary & more details to follow. It'll be mid morning so you can sneak in some bird watching prior.

Cheers Lori
