Hi All,

The tiny Australasian Grebe chick that survived the heavy rain last week and the destruction of the nest at Casey appears to be doing well. It was swimming for short burst today and also diving when startled by coots. It is still spending much of the time perched (or wriggling around) on the parent's back. Very, very cute.

Cheers
Julie
