One Dollarbird at 11 am this morning (12 March), perched on a willow on the Wetland bank of Molongo Reach (just upstream from the Hospice).

A latish departure according to Jack Holland - “and the Dollarbird was still observed on 22 February. So please keep an eye/ear out too for these species, as the last of the latter usually depart by about the end of the first week of March”. (Gang-Gang Newsletter March 2017, p. 4)
