I spent some time watching 4 Crested Shrike-tits this morning at Tidbinbilla. The male and female each had a vocal hungry youngster following them, flapping wings and constantly chirping until fed. At one point a pair were in a shrub a meter or two from me. The parent did not seem fussed.

Both youngsters had yellow throats with some green appearing suggesting start of moult and females?

Also a good day for herps with 4 species seen.
