Eastern rosella, Australian magpie, Laughing kookaburra, SC cockie and Galah are all Auzzie exports to NZ, the first two have done well the others less so.

 

The Mistletoebird is recorded from Indonesia's Aru islands off Papua.

 

In addition to other locations mention the Dollarbird can be found in Timor Leste.

Geez Mark.  You run a tighter border control than I do.

 

I guess the SCC and the WTE both escape north.  If the bottom RH corner bird is a flycatcher (?), then it also needs to be rounded up for visiting northern shores.  Those plus the $bird.

 

But the $bird is a recidivist and so I single it out.

Oh dear Geoffrey, there are at least four species in your main photo that are not dinky di Aussies, plus of course Ned’s mate.  I suppose they could have gone down to Lake Burley Griffin this morning to meet the GG, the PM and the VC winner to become fully fledged Aussie citizens!

 

Anyone care to try and list them?
