Hi all

I thought some of you may interested in my sighting from the weekend at Wallagoot Lake, just north of Merimbula, NSW.
I was looking for Southern Emu Wrens when I came across a tiny flash of red, shot a few photos before it flew off and realised I had my first Crimson Chat. A couple of local birders came by about 5 mins later and confirmed the ID, and the fact that this little guy was very far from home!

I wonder how he got there!?

Cheers

Natalie
