Calvary hospital have a fair sized enclosure with a variety of bird species, including zebra finches. I'm sure they would take it on if you're stuck for a new home

The bird is actually in Watson, and I'm asking around after finding out that the owner no longer wants it and it is being kept in a tiny cage on its own. . Anyway, I've had offers of a home so far from Young and Royalla, so I'll wait to see if anyone else responds. The owner is not prepared to travel with it, so I will if need be. 

 

FYI Philip: Bywong is only 20 mins from Dickson, and most Bywongians frequently travel to Canberra!
