About time that COG saw sense and used the IOC list for its names. If the replacement for Christidis and Boles had been done by the person who was supposed
to do it we would all be using the IOC list. Most people I know use IOC for their personal listings, including people who supposedly are doing the Birdlife Australia Working List. Somewhat ironic I feel!!.

Ixobrychus dubius is the current name in the BirdLife Australia Working List v2, and that is the taxonomy & nomenclature that COG uses.

Got to see him this morning in front of Cygnus hide. A few have been reporting it as heard on e-bird recently.
