My take on the local Latham's Snipe https://vimeo.com/195160178
Viewers may also be interested in my footage of the related north Eurasian Common Snipe
https://vimeo.com/195162375 This was filmed in England where is the 'common' snipe - how similar these species are from such a normal view.
Interestingly this species and another, Solitary Snipe, overwinter in Japan. So the Latham's Snipe leave Japan in winter to come here and these other two species go there for winter from further north!!
