I work in Bruce opposite the CIT and all I get to see out the window is Noisy Miners and a Masked lapwing incubating eggs in the middle of a lawn :(

Sorry to be inaccurate!  The CIT I was referring to is the Bruce one. Accessed from Haydon Drive  I think the street is called Purdie Street.  You park in the car parks on the left hand side and walk across to the bushland on the right which spreads back towards  Calvary Hospital.  There are a couple of small entries through the fence.  I do hope that helps.

Hello Susan,

thank you for sharing your observation. I tried to figure out where to find the bushland, but realised that CIT has a couple of sites in Canberra. Could I ask you for an alternative description to find the site? Thank you.

Olly

I saw a very good number of birds in the bushland at CIT this morning.  The highlights were an Olive-backed Oriole, a Noisy Friarbird, a White-throated Treecreeper,  two courting Dollarbirds and two courting Sacred Kingfishers.
