This is my annual request for any information about Little Eagle nesting, for the purpose of the ongoing CBN write-up organised by Jerry Olsen.  In the past COG input over the years has been very useful in monitoring this declining species.  Signs of nesting at  this time can be a pair together or an individual adult repeatedly seen at the same location  -   particularly ‘perched watchfully’.   Nests now should have small young which typically leave the nest around Christmas.  Known current  nesting sites are at Campbell Park and Strathnairn.  Another nest is near Sutton Road in NSW.  Past reports of LEs in the Kambah area have failed to lead to any confirmation of nesting there.  Any sightings of dark-morph adults are of interest, as all 4 of the known nesting adults are pale morph.
