There are still small groups of Yellow-faced and White-naped Honeyeaters moving up from the Hoskinstown Plain through the Widgiewa/ Whiskers Creek area in the mornings.  The resident Yellow-faced seem to have arrived and (judging by their vocalisation) set up territories in early September so the current arrivals will have t keep moving through.

I haven't noticed Pardalotes moving recently: they are mainly calling from near nest sites.  Some may already be on second broods.

Yesterday (6. Nov.) I noted in the wider Lake George/Lake Bathurst area still small groups (max. 17) of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters moving through. But also several groups of Spotted Pardalotes (14, 15, 6) passed along tree lines.

The Honeyeaters were perhaps late migrants while the pardalotes could have been early departures from breeding areas??? Did others observe similar movements?
