As far as I can see the change - which would be very helpful - has not been carried through to the mobile app. Which makes it far less useful for field work.

I am not sure what this means, but it is an interesting development especially considering BA's recently revamped Birdata portal (which still seems really confusing), and probably of interest to some COG members.

I note the following link does mention something about the transfer of ebird data, and this may better facilitate that. No recent announcements on this on BA or ebird that I can find relating to this though. http://birdlife.org.au/projects/atlas-and-birdata/faq
