Yesterday I heard two birds go past my house. They were smaller than
Silvereyes. I did not get anything like a sighting of any of their
characteristics. They were high in the canopy. They were just passing
through. From the calls I knew straight away that the two birds were not
the usuals - either from the local area or the ACT, and I have been
ruminating since then about what they might have been. My best guess is
Brown Gerygone, so I suggest being alert to the possibility. In terms of
location, my house is near the junction between Ridley Street and Knibbs
Street.
