The spider exhibit at Questacon this week was brilliant. COG member, Stuart Harris, was  busy explaining to the stream of visitors. Our grand children, who are afraid of spiders , had no trouble engaging in the activities. It was set up like a games arcade with kids operating spider fangs to catch prey, dancing to imitate the maratus spider's leg waving or listening to identify the different sounds that prey made and trying to beat the buzzer.

This could be an opportunity for COG to promote the cause of birds through an exhibit of this kind. Anyone who has not been should go as it will end soon .  What do you think?
