As you may have read in August Gang-gang, COG has been asked to assist the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust to conduct a survey of Latham's Snipe in ACT wetlands beginning next weekend 20-21 August - and Bill Graham has today reported the arrival of a Latham's
Snipe at Forde Pond. Volunteers are required to survey once a month until March 2017. We have volunteers for many wetlands but are still looking for volunteers for the following wetlands:
"Uriarra Station" dam
Ginini Flats
Gungahlin Pond
Lake Burley Griffin from Acacia Inlet to Scrivener Dam
Lake Burley Griffin - Warrina Inlet
Norgrove Park Wetland, Kingston
Nursery Swamp
Isabella Ponds
The Valley Ponds, Gungahlin
