I haven't seen the Powl lately but in the last few days have spotted something high up in its usual tree (5th tree down from the bike path in the 3rd row of trees south of the bowling club). Even with my binoculars I had trouble making out what
it was - all brown but not sure if it was feathers or fur I was seeing. Today at 4.55pm the setting sun hit this thing and it moved and I could see it better- it was a bat! Alas no powl. Has anyone seen it lately?
Heather
