This morning for the first time I sighted two White-fronted Chats near the Couranga St pond in Hume. Initially in small tree next to the pond, then in the grass on vacant block next to the pond.
the pair of lapwings between that pond and the Direct courier depot opposite would appear to be nesting or preparing to nest. Apart from circling above me when I was near that pond, one chased one of the courier trucks, then my car as I drove away.
