Great robin watching this morning in C Brae, c. 10.30 -12.30: right up the eastern end of Nursery Creek; but not beside it; rather, up the slope a little to its nth, on open ground but ringed by large gums; I sat on a stump @ the centre
of this area for v long time watching: Flame Robins, m. & f. (not seen in that reserve by me before) not sure of numbers but the place seemed teeming with them; Scarlet robins, m & f; several times I had a male of each of these 2 species `in frame’ at the
same time; Yellow-rumped thornbills, fairy wrens, an English Goldfinch; I suppose , Jack, you’d call that a mixed feeding flock? And back down near the creek, a Grey Shrike thrush.
