An invitation is extended to all subscribers to attend the first discovery walk being held by the Save the Murrumbidgee River Corridor community group as part of our campaign to save the area west of the Tuggeranong Town Centre from urban development.

The walk is scheduled for Sunday 19th June 2016.

Meeting at the carpark behind St Vincent de Paul's in Tuggeranong at 1:30pm, after a brief introduction we will walk across Athllon Drive and enter the woodland to search for the Scarlet Robin. Children are welcome.

As this event will involve some people with limited bird knowledge, experienced COG members that could assist in leading the walk and answering questions would be greatly appreciated.  This would be an opportunity to spruik the merits of what COG does and the benefits of becoming an active member of the group.

If the weather is unfriendly, we will advise on the morning if the event is to be postponed.

Hope to see you there on Sunday 19th June.
