This morning at around 6:50am, while walking the dog, I saw a pale, galah-sized bird flying wildly while being chased by crows, currawongs and magpies.  It flew onto the 8th floor balcony of the QT Hotel, where it stayed while about 6 crows kept watch.  Considering the jizz and behaviour of the bird, the reaction of the chasers and other recent reports to this email group, I'm pretty sure it was a Barn Owl.

Regards,
