Honeyeaters

After a big day on Sunday and no action on Monday and Tuesday, the honeyeaters really got going today from about 11 O’clock.  I sat outside for a while at 12:30 and one stream of honeyeaters flew over that was constant for just over 8 minutes.  There was not one second of that time when I could not see honeyeaters.  To count them was impossible but a wild guess would be in the order of 3-4000 birds. There were many other large flocks also of up to 4-500 birds.  This has been the biggest concentration I have seen for 3-4 years.

Regards
