I have one Grey Butcherbird around my GBS site for several weeks. I have advised one of my neighbours to keep their budgie inside. I have not noticed any particular interactions with the Currawongs.

I've had an immature Grey Butcherbird hanging around our street in Macquarie the past few days; the Currawongs seem the most upset about its presence.

Here's a rubbish picture of it flying just inches above the road:

Had a great day at Yankee Hat today; lots of Dusky Woodswallows, Black-faced Cuckoo-shrikes, Nankeen Kestrels, Flame Robins plus an Australian Hobby and 3 maybe 5 Wedge-tailed Eagles, also a suspected Swamp Harrier.
