Oh dear!  Jerry Olsen has suggested to Ryu a juv Swamp Harrier, and of course that’s a better fit. Look at the long wings, and stretched rather than round head.  I was influenced by the colour and coarse barring (and likelihood)

New raptor on Wanniassa Hills today. I only got out-of-focus photos in the spur of the moment but hopefully they are enough. It was being mobbed by 2 Kestrals, which you can see in some photos and provide a good size comparison

Other nice sightings this morning were 4 Scarlet Robins in the same shrub, 2 or more Golden Whistlers (first for the season on WHNR), and a Speckled Warbler
