Friday morning I saw a Boobook Owl at Yerrabi Pond about 8.00am. near the big flying foxes on the south side. A mob of Noisy Miners were making a big fuss and I saw a raptor in a clump of foliage at the top of a sapling. It was impossible to distinguish due
to overcast skies. I moved position and got a good look at its face and Boobook it was. After time of pestering it took off followed by about 8 cranky Miners. My first sighting at Yerrabi.
