Pied Currawongs

We find that tying a brown paper bag around each bunch of grapes well before they ripen (and I mean all  of them!) fools the currawongs (and other birds) most years. Consequently we are feasting on a bumper crop this year.

In my part of Kambah there has been many currawongs calling and dropping in to eat my grapes.  Notice today that hey have moved on.
