Subject: [canberrabirds] Seeking to identify birdcall (Braddon)

Hello all,

I'm a Melburnian staying in Canberra (Braddon) for the summer. For several weeks now I've been hearing an odd call that I don't recognise at all, and I'm hoping you might be able to help me identify the source. The call sounds like a descending whistle, with two tones. I haven't been able to record the bird, but I have recorded me doing an IMPERSONATION of the bird which is hopefully close enough to aid in identification.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best,
