ON Saturday I emailed neighbour John Bundock (yes, that's very lazy of me) that I was pretty sure I'd heard musk lorikeets calling. Nothing yesterday, but calls again twice today. He photographed a musk lorikeet up in the "woodland" near Wanniassa Hills
Primary School this morning. I noticed when I was there a few days ago that some eucs looked close to flowering. A year or so ago they stuck around for several weeks in this general vicinity, being seen at some stage most days near the school, in our gardens,
or in Holden Cres.
