Both of those sites are access points for the Canberra Centenary Trail. I
have now walked the whole Trail and parked in both of those places in the
last few months, so I guess I was lucky not to be targeted.

A while ago I reported a car break in at the sub station/ANBG/CSIRO corner
on Frith Road on Black Moutain.
I recently observed piles of window glass in several new locations in the
same corner.
