Using Ross Bennett's book I would come up with either Maccoy's Skink
Nannoscincus maccoyi (another book put it as Hemiergis maccoyi, or the
Three-toed Skink Hemiergis decresiensis. Those are the ones that match the
shape with very small limbs and both can have a very yellow underside. As you
have the specimen, the most obvious diagnostic clue is does it have 5 or 3 toes
on each foot. That would be the decider. Both described as common.

Hi
I found this at Dunlop Pond today. It is the first time I have seen anything
like it. I would appreciate knowing its name. I have it in the fridge should
someone have a valid scientific interest.
regards
Con
