Hi everyone
Firstly, a big thank you to all the leaders of trips in 2015, including the "regulars" who often lead up to 3 or 4 trips a year, and to the new volunteers. Without you, we would not have such interesting outings.
The 2016 field trips programme is now on the website. There are a few changes from the draft programme that appeared in Nov Gang-gang, the major one being the moving of the long camping trip from September to probably May, but dates are yet to be finalised.
You will note that there are 7 dates with Venue to be decided and
Leader required - 17 April, 15 May, 29 May, 18 Sep, 25 Sep, 23 Oct and 20 November. In this season of goodwill, perhaps
you could consider leading a trip to your favourite birding spot for a morning, a full day or even a weekend. Mid-week trips are also popular. Please contact me if you can help fill the 2016 programme.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Sue Lashko
