We used to have them too; nested in neighbours’ upstairs eaves but eaves have gone & birds too; our redgums, now infested noisy miners

It could well be one of the ones I saw yesterday. We typically have one or two each year too.

Three koels this afternoon along the border of Higgins and Latham. One male in hot pursuit of a female. A second male decided to join in, but gave up very quickly. The wattlebirds were
not as fussed by the koels as the koels themselves were.
