My "go-to" place for them is the main carpark at the AIS. Has only failed me once in past couple of years. Get out of car and listen. This morning they were calling from over near the apartment blocks, but flock of 5 flew into the AIS carpark within about 2
minutes. Then another 2 joined them. A further 2 up near the child care centre
Early morning is best, and many of the big eucs are hard hit by the lerps etc that have damaged lots of trees, but it's still best place I know for them
