Yes one at the tiny pond at North Watson last weekend. Perhaps 9am, not early. 

A family has been there a few years and I was glad to know they are still around as it is now becoming a coot pond and coots seem like a very dominating species to be around, though this is just based on my own obs rather than hard data.

As yet I haven't seen any at Forde ... my first sighting last year was early November at Yerrabi and then mid December at Forde.
