There were three and then two visible Superb Parrots on the northern edge of Mt
Rogers this morning. ...about 09.45. There was that general 'feeling' of
hearing them in the area.
In conversation with a regular walker he'd heard of 'Superbs' feeding and
creching young in Acacias near the Wickens Place, Fraser car-park late last
week.
I wonder if this feeding is part of what used to be the Superbs' return to the
ACT after more distant breeding efforts in NSW or whether this is some of the
ACT-locals knowing there's food in Mt Rogers area?
