Blunbdell's Creek Road has been resurfaced so it's easy even for a 2 wheel drive to get down it. We drove down nearly to the junction with Wark's Road and had an hour's walk or so.

We encountered a selection of the usual spp there inc:

Pilotbird (heard)
Lyrebird (heard
Whipbird (oddly enough, seen but not heard)
Satin Flycatcher
Rufous Fantail
Golden Whistler
Rufous Whistler
Satin Bowerbird
White-naped Honeyeater
White-eared Honeyeater
Grey Shrike-Thrush
Bassian Thrush
YTBC
WTTC
Fan-tailed Cuckoo (several)
