The name is Aseroe rubra
And the sticky mess is called "gleba" and it contains the spores which are free to be picked up by flies at the gooey stage (now), and then once deposited by the flies, they can develop in their new location.
A good system, if messy looking.
Needless to say, the gleba smells like Poo, a key to its success.
