People........ Fallen out of someone’s rubbish bin? Somewhat more likely than a platypus....... Though among birds I’d suspect a raven.

We found a half eaten yabbie on our front path this morning!  We are about 1 km from Lake Ginninderra, so we are wondering if a (water?) bird might have taken it from the lake and (unintentionally?) dropped it on our path??

Does anyone know of such behaviour?  Are other than  water birds known to catch yabbies?
