Hi, great news from Mulligan’s Flat Sanctuary. We have just found out that the Bush Stone-curlews, Rowena and Herbie, have produced the goodies and we now have one healthy looking chick running around.

There will be a media release shortly and I would be most grateful if you do not go looking for the birds to give them every chance of raising the chick.  Given the season there is every chance that they will lay again so another good reason to not disturb them.

Thanks to the COG membership for continuing to support this reintroduction project.

If you want to hear the birds may I suggest you book into the night tours organised by the Capital Woodlands and Wetlands Trust.  Bookings can be made at http://bettongs.org/visit-us/night-tours/

Chris
