Ian Warden in this morning's CT has a photo of a circular rainbow, over
Cottesloe, my home town. I have just returned from a holiday there. If you
look very carefully you can see rainbow lorikeets, hundreds, thousands of them
flocking into the norfolk island pines in Forrest Street, to the left of the
golf course, as they do at sunset every day of the year.
If you look even harder you will see a juvenile osprey perched on an
electricity pole on the groyne.
News about the rufous night herons at Fremantle tomorrow.
My night flowering cactus is out--beautiful flowers, at the side of my
drive--always flowers in November and this year it likes the cloudy weather.
Take note please Geoffrey. Also my wollemi pine has many new flowers
