G'day Koel persons

This morning I was visiting Philip (the 'burb) and walked up the greenway forming the boundary between Chifley and Pearce (roughly the red line in the imagebelow.
There were Red Wattlebirds everywhere including at least 3 DY.  I also heard a Koel call in Chifley.  So if you're desperate that could be a good hunting ground.

Are you interested in activity out this way, ie halfway to Captains Flat, where Koels are very few and far between?  We have some very Noisy ones at present and they have nested, with varying degrees of success, each of the last three years ?

Hi Everyone,

My field assistants and I are in search of Red Wattlebird and Noisy Friarbird nests. If you run across any you think are active (preferably in the egg stage) let us know! I've CCed my assistants on this email so you can email them directly too.

Cheers,

Virginia, Remi, and Stephanie
