Hi All,

Highlights of recent visits to Forde Creek: (Same area as the spotted crakes and buff-banded rails bred last season)

A very young Lewin's Rail (see photo) - very brief views
An adult Lewin's Rail seen the following day (even briefer view and very poor photo!)
Latham's Snipe seems to have taken up residence
Copulating Black-fronted Dotterels
Spotted Crake/s - not sure if there is more than one .. views too brief and distant so far
