many years ago I used to take my kelpie cross dog for a run in western Stromlo.  Her colouring was somewhat fox like.  The ravens would often give her a hard time, swooping at her head, and I assumed this was because she was about the same size and colour as a fox – of which there were a few around.  Closer to home on Narrabundah Hill she took great delight when the local magpie came after her – a great game which both enjoyed!!

Well done. The last fox I saw in my street also had two Magpies on its tail!

Walking along the park/pasture boundary at Campbell Park this morning, there was a sudden rush of kangaroos from the pasture toward the fence and the Park.  Nothing obvious in sight.

After a while a fox (mangy coat) seen in the distance toward the new Majura road.  A magpie took offense and launched swooping attacks.

Fox eventually seen heading off at a run.
