(Todiramphus sordidus). This is the form from central Qld coast and in n Australia and the Aru Islands. The current ssp. pilbara (nw Australia) and colcloughi (se Qld and ne NSW) are retained as Collared Kingfisher. So an armchair tick for many of us I guess.
