All

I don’t always read the chatline and didn’t see this discussion. I was notified of the issue after coming back from holidays – thanks David.

1.PLEASE notify of ALL issues and problems with the website.

2. COG has a maintenance contract with a Wordpress maintenance specialist group to handle this kind of thing.  On request last week they spent a day fixing the problem.  As with all things software and internet related, an issue may remain though they say it should be properly fixed.

On checking today I notice that Nathanael’s first notified problem no longer appears via a google search, and I cannot replicate the issue in other obvious ways.

I am advised that the website infection(s) were not the kind that affect users’ computers or systems.

Again, if you notice any similar problem recurring, PLEASE notify me as soon as possible via

Cheers

Many thanks to Nathanael for identifying and drawing COG's attention to this.

Our website hosting company has now identified part of the problem and cleaned the suspect files, though this will not be reflected in google for some time owing to google's cache.

COG will soon institute changes to the website to minimise the likelihood of the vulnerability being exploited again.

Thanks again Nathanael.

Who looks after it?

When I Google "stubble quail canberra" and click the result to the COG website it takes me to some pharmacy medication site.
