Greetings. Victoria Wharfe McIntyre is a leading, award-winning Australian film-maker. She has approached COG with the following request.

Victoria explains that the 'wagtail is the messenger in Indigenous law and he lets us know someone is coming in the film'.

If you can assist Victoria, please respond to her directly.

Thanks - David

Hello David,

I was wondering if you might be able to help or point me in the direction of someone who can?

I'm making a film and we need a tame willie wagtail (Or fantail) to shoot as a recurring motif. (It is an important symbol to the Indigenous people that we have in our story.)

I was wondering if you might know of any tame wagtails?

We would just need to have it come in and land in front of the camera - we would set up a green screen so we could do the shot at the bird's home and then put it in the film in post production.

Would be so grateful if you might have any thoughts on this.

Many thanks Victoria
