I recorded 2 on my COG chart until the week of 24 July. The lone survivor is still here, and I have photos of him/her in the neighbour's garden.

This should go on the formal COG record. Most obs of the species are just one bird and only for a few days. From what you wrote: (and “until July” doesn’t give a start date). I’m pretty sure that would be the longest residency period for the species in Canberra.

I have a lone White Headed Pigeon living at a house opposite me in Holder.  Until July there were two, but I have spoken to the home owner who says they found the other one dead regrettably.  The bird has a gloriously glossy black tail visible when he flies.
