There are heaps of them in central NSW all singing away at the moment.

My first for this season.  It hasn’t been clear to me what numbers of this species we might get this spring/summer but with parts of the inland very dry there may be more than might be expected from the (still) relatively wet conditions here.  So keep an ear out for them, their call is unmistakeable.
